| The Kasteel White Dorper Stud was the first stud in South Africa (1992) to have a private production sale. On these production sales approximately 80 rams and 200-500 ewes are offered annually. At the 1996 sale, 30% of the rams offered were single lambs, 65% twins and 5% triplets - a certain proof of fertility. |

National and regional sales are well supported by Dries. On each of the 3 yearly National sales, where the best of the breed are offered for sale, Kasteel White Dorper Stud has had the highest average price paid for their sale string - an indication of the quality of rams offered for sale. |
